Customer Terms & Conditions

KlassPal is an online marketplace operated by Pal Ventures FZ-LLC ("KlassPal", "we", "us", "our"), licensed in the United Arab Emirates. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KlassPal website and mobile applications (together, the "Platform") as a customer ("you", "your"). By creating an account, booking a session, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

KlassPal is a technology platform that connects you with independent instructors ("Instructors"). KlassPal is not the instructor, employer, agent, or provider of any session, and does not itself deliver sessions. Each session (a "Session") is delivered by an independent Instructor who is solely responsible for the services they provide.

• You must be 18 years or older to create a KlassPal account.
• If you book a Session for a person under 18, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, you consent to their participation, and you accept full responsibility for their participation, supervision, and safety.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use.
• You may hold only one account, and you must not use the Platform if we have previously suspended or removed your account.

• All bookings and payments are made through the Platform. No cash payments are accepted. By completing a booking you enter into a direct agreement with the Instructor for that Session; KlassPal facilitates the booking and payment.
• Prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are the total amount payable at checkout; where applicable they include venue and equipment charges. No VAT is added to the prices shown. If any tax becomes applicable in future, it will be shown clearly before you pay.
• Payments are processed by third-party payment providers (including Stripe and, where offered, "Buy Now, Pay Later" providers such as Tabby and Tamara). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We never store your full card number or security code.
• Your payment is held securely and released to the Instructor 24 hours after the Session completes, unless you raise a concern within that window (see section 5).

The 50% refund for cancellations within 12 hours applies to the full amount you paid, including any venue and equipment charges. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

Because Sessions are scheduled services provided at a specific time, statutory cooling-off periods that apply to certain goods do not apply once a Session is booked; the cancellation and refund terms above apply instead. This does not affect any of your other statutory rights.

If something goes wrong with your Session, raise a concern within 24 hours of the Session end time via the booking details page in your account. KlassPal will review your concern and aim to respond within 24 hours. We encourage you to raise concerns with us first so we can resolve them quickly. Nothing in this process limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UAE law, including your right to escalate a complaint to the UAE Ministry of Economy or to your payment provider.

You agree to:

• arrive on time for your booked Session;
• treat Instructors and our staff with respect — harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour may result in account suspension;
• keep your login credentials private;
• not arrange or pay for sessions outside the Platform with an Instructor you met through KlassPal;
• provide honest reviews and accurate information; and
• use the Platform for lawful purposes only.

You must not misuse or disrupt the Platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, impersonate any person, or use the Platform in any way that endangers a minor. Breach of this section may lead to suspension or removal of your account.

Content you submit — including reviews, ratings, messages, and images ("Your Content") — must be accurate, lawful, and your own. You grant KlassPal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, use, reproduce, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Platform. You must not post false, misleading, defamatory, or incentivised reviews. KlassPal may remove any content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

The Platform, its content and software, and the KlassPal name and logo are owned by or licensed to KlassPal and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.

Before an Instructor can accept bookings, KlassPal carries out an onboarding review that includes collecting government-issued identification and, where an Instructor tells us a permit or licence is required for their activity, requesting it. This onboarding review is a process check — not a guarantee of any Instructor's qualifications, background, or fitness to teach. Instructors who provide a recognised certification may display a Verified Instructor badge, which confirms only that documents were submitted and checked. Instructors are independent third parties: KlassPal does not employ them, does not control how Sessions are delivered, and does not guarantee their professional qualifications, fitness to teach, or session quality. Instructors who teach as a personal passion are clearly indicated on their profiles.

The technology and availability of the Platform are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. This does not affect the statutory quality and conformity rights you have as a consumer under UAE law. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law:

• for claims arising from KlassPal's provision of the Platform service, KlassPal's total liability to you is limited to the greater of the total amount you paid for the affected Session(s) or the platform fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim;
• KlassPal is not liable for the acts, omissions, or conduct of Instructors, including any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from a Session — your rights against the Instructor directly are unaffected; and
• KlassPal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UAE law, including liability for any harmful act under Article 296 of the UAE Civil Transactions Law, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any of your non-excludable statutory consumer rights. KlassPal cooperates fully with UAE law enforcement and will provide relevant platform data upon lawful request.

You agree to indemnify KlassPal against reasonable third-party claims and related costs to the extent they arise from your unlawful conduct or from content you post that infringes another person's rights (for example an intellectual-property or defamation claim). This does not apply to any matter caused by KlassPal's own negligence or breach.

You may stop using the Platform at any time and request deletion of your account (see our Delete Account page). KlassPal may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, where required to comply with the law, or to protect users or the Platform. Sections that by their nature should continue — including those on liability, indemnity, intellectual property, and governing law — survive termination.

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

KlassPal may update these Terms with at least 14 days' notice for material changes, given via the Platform or the email linked to your account. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

• Force majeure: KlassPal is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
• Severability: if any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and KlassPal regarding the Platform.
• Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms; KlassPal may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
• Language: these Terms may be provided in English and Arabic. In the event of any conflict between the two, the English version prevails.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection forum or right available to you under UAE law.
